Individuals with lower back pain who have completed the four-week programme had significant improvements in both pain and functional ability. Also, these benefits lasted for at least four weeks after the programme was completed.
This programme was designed to strengthen the abdominals, paraspinal muscles, gluteal muscles, hamstrings and multifidi as well as to stretch the erector spinae, hamstrings, hip flexors and quadratus lumborum muscles.
